An administrator sets the keywords, hashtags, accounts, detection rules and who receives emails — all in the System Console.

Monitor
Tideline pulls new public posts and articles on a schedule, stores them, and scores each one against your rules.

Review & respond
Analysts review flagged items, corroborated events and alerts, and decide what action to take. Tideline never acts on its own.
Searches are limited to the period your administrator chooses (by default, posts from today), only new posts are fetched each time, and every source shows its usage so costs stay predictable.

Tideline follows the developer terms of every platform it connects to and is designed around the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Data comes from the platforms’ published APIs under their developer terms. No scraping.
Public content
Tideline works with publicly available posts, videos and news articles.
Deletions respected
Posts deleted or made private on X are removed from Tideline within 24 hours, as X requires.
People decide
Scores and events are indicators for trained reviewers, never automatic decisions about anyone.
Restricted access
Accounts are issued by administrators, with roles, email sign-in codes and full session control.
No resale, no training
Collected content is never sold, shared for advertising, or used to train AI models.
